Pleb Bean Soup


1 soup bone
1.5 litres of water
1 Carrot
1 Desert spoon Cornflower (Maizena)
1 cup white beans
2 tomatoes
1 onion
1 Teaspoon Gravy Salt (Bristo)
Herbs (To taste)


Soak beans in water overnight, add to meat in the 1.5 litres of water, add tomatoes, carrot (whole), onion and gravy salt. Bring to boil, turn heat down and simmer for two hours. When the carrot is tender, take it out mash and return to the soup.
Lastly add the cornflower and gravy salt for thickening. Stirring often, serve hot
